South Connections is a company limited by guarantee and a charity whose aim is to teach, produce and perform carnival art.

We have a launch and a launch party at which you can see the designs for the following Carnival. People come and look at the designs, hear the music and meet the masqueraders at the South Connections launch party and decide if they would like to play Mas with us at Notting Hill Carnival at the end of August. We bring out a South Connections' Children's Band on the Sunday as well as the South Connections' Adult Band on the Monday. Masqueraders pay for the material costs of their costumes but we provide music and transport on the day.

South Connections takes part in a variety of additional events and festivals around the UK including Margate, Norwich and Liverpool Carnival.

We also offer carnival workshops in our premises during carnival season and in schools and community centres during the rest of the year. South Connections is always pleased to be approached for workshops and appearances.
